Days with the big family is counting. With the date nearing, some got restless, some got more emotional, some just cant be bother bout it. Several gatherings had been held this month for this big family. As many of us believe no matter where we head to in the near future, we wouldnt be able to find such a big, happy, happening, fun-loving family again.
Have been constantly thinking about the days that i've been through with the family. The demanding passengers that refuse to de-board. The typhoon that disrupted the schedules, where the family gotta be up 24 hours to make sure that our passengers are well taken care of. Is incidents like this that bond all of us together. Is also this that makes us all tear, as that when you know who are truly bonded as a team, a family.
Yesterday, the family had our final gathering [maybe .. maybe not] @ Grand Roxy Mercure Hotel. We had fun as usual, but there's something different. This is the 2nd time i feel that i'm overwhelmed by emotions. Both times in the very same ballroom, 1st time was Eric Lee's retirement, 2nd and the last is the parting of the big family. Our beloved interns performed a short musical call the "CX605 to the Future", which touched everyone heart. Especially when they use "words" that was so closed to heart. What make me and most of us teared was the song they sang at the end "Remember Me This Way". It was a "killer" for most, i tired holding back my tears, but i cant, it just got its way.
The session ends close to midnight, we were all hugging, crying, camwhoring and wishing each & all the best of luck. This is definately a moment that i'll remember for life. I'm proud and glad to be part of this big family. I will and always miss you people.
PS: It was sad that Linda and Gege (Sharmaine) couldnt join us.. i Miss U girls. *hugz* .. "Evidence" of the gatherings will be shared in part 2.. stay tune ..
